I was absolutely delighted with the final results. I thought that the realization from idea to finished product was a very smooth process and I liked the way that my ideas were taken into account at every stage. Some of the camerawork is first-rate. I have an appointment with the Associate dean, Chris Andrew today and am sure he will agree that this is an essential part of our publicity. We are looking at the possibility of having other versions which highlight different parts of the School, so I will be in touch with you again about a virtual visit, part II in the Autumn. We are looking at using the DVD as part of an electronic newsletter to send out to potential clients and agents.
Thank you very much to all the team. I enjoyed working with everyone.

I just wanted to express my thanks for the very professional manner in which the recording of the lecture the Hidden art of Auschwitz has been handled. There has been superb cooperation between the eLearning Initiatives Team and the Department of Arts and Social Sciences. I have enjoyed working with Ben on this project and who has advised me every step of the way. I also think that Shabia's design for the cd cover is an excellent piece of design work.
Congratulations and thanks.

I just wanted to express my appreciation and thanks for the work your team have undertaken in helping us to produce a ‘student vox pops’ video for our web site.
The videos themselves are of the highest quality and I am really pleased with them, I will certainly be forwarding them to Peter Slee and the VC for information.
Alongside the quality of the work has been the enthusiasm and commitment of your staff. They worked extremely well with the students chosen for this. They have been efficient and offered a quick turn around which has been excellent.
Please can you pass my especial thanks to Mark Burrell and Ben Lovett who have been our guides in this new venture – their support has been much appreciated.

Extract from an email sent by Nina:
Following the recent completion of the promotional video that we put together for Danuta Watson in the Languages School, Haydn has this morning handed Danuta the first copy of the CD (which was to be shown to 80 potential students in Longbenton that afternoon). The primary purpose of the CD was to show at the Modern Languages Fair in London this weekend, at the request of the Polish Embassy. As the video work has progressed, Danuta has found that it will be useful for a number of projects that she is involved with and is delighted with the finished product. She has this morning handed Haydn a bag of Polish goodies to be shared amongst the team (chocolate and biscuits). The message attached reads “Thank you for your help and an excellent film, Danuta”.

Having just taken receipt of the final batch of CD’s and DVDs for modules three and four of our Postgraduate Certificate in Managing Public Services delivered to Managers at Gateshead Council, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you and your team on the production of an excellent and innovative series of flexible learning materials. We have very much enjoyed working with Nina, Ed and Ben, along with others and appreciate their expertise and guidance throughout this process.
Initial feedback from the participants from Gateshead is excellent, they are finding the materials interesting, easy to navigate and any minor teething problems have been resolved by Nina and colleagues without delay. As programme leader for this course this has made my job so more pleasurable, especially given the contemporary nature of the delivery method.
We expect a further 40-50 students to join this programme in the coming academic year which is a further indication of how well it has been received.
Thank you again for the efforts of your entire team and we look forward to working with you all again very soon.
